The purpose of Maryland Troopers Helping Troopers Inc., is to provide all types of support to members of the Maryland State Police, other Maryland law enforcement officers, and other first responders within the State of Maryland. The organization will provide financial and other assistance to these first responders (and their families) who find themselves in distress or during other times of need, and will do so in good faith using objective standards applied on a consistent basis. Maryland Troopers Helping Troopers Inc., will also support state troopers in performing their duties more efficiently during emergency conditions and will educate the public about the essential role that first responders play in protecting the life and property of the citizens of Maryland.
